Windsor Island Resort, located in Davenport, Florida, is the newest gem in the vacation rental market. Construction started in 2019 and is now nearing completion. The first three phases of the development are finished, as are the amazing on-site amenities. The resort is gated, with 24/7 security, and is conveniently located for quick access to Walt Disney World®, Universal Orlando® and all of Orlando’s other world class attractions. There are two entrance gates. The main security gate is on Sand Mine Road, just off US-27. Additionally, a secondary gate has just been completed, which is directly off the US-27.
Amenities
At Windsor Island Resort you will find the latest in excellent amenities. Grab a tube and plummet down the twisting water-slide or take the plunge on the single rider water tube. There is a children’s splash pad, for the smaller fun-seekers. Shoot a water cannon, slide into the water or wait for the giant bucket to empty. For something more relaxing, ride a tube down the gently flowing lazy river. After all that fun, it’s time to relax. Pick your favourite spot in the hammock garden. Where better to read a book as you gently sway in the Florida warmth.

If you want something that gets the blood pumping, how about a game of beach volleyball? Or you can get a sweat on in the state of the art fitness centre. Alternatively, challenge your friends to a game of tennis or basketball. After that the zero-entry family pool is the perfect oasis to cool off. As if all this isn’t fun enough, there is a fabulous multi-player gaming zone with air hockey, a basketball shooting game, dual driving games, motorcycle chase and a couple of shoot ’em ups! Having worked up a hunger, treat yourself to dinner at the on-site Marlin’s Grill. Then afterward maybe enjoy a cocktail sitting beside the fire-pit.
