There are approximately 900 detached homes and 100 town-homes located throughout the resort and at it’s centre, the 5,600 sqft clubhouse. There are 3 master suites, each with it’s own vibe and character, as well as 2 stunning, themed children’s bedrooms. Both of the kid’s room have bunk beds with a wall mounted flatscreen TV; one has a Sea Captain theme, the other has a Jungle Adventure theme. Moreover, both rooms have a fun slide for your kid’s to enjoy.
The double garage in this Platinum villa has been converted to a vibrant New York themed games room/movie theatre. There are 2 driving games, an air hockey table, a 10ft wall mounted flatscreen TV and two rows of movie theatre seating, complete with cup holders. Grab some popcorn, choose your favourite movie and you’re all set.
Upstairs the open loft has a pool table, a bar area with under-counter fridge and a coffee maker. Plus, there is a wall mounted flatscreen TV, gaming console with 2 controllers, a comfortable armchair and a high top table with seating for 4 people.
To the rear the fully screened in pool and hot tub is the perfect oasis for kicking back and unwinding after a day at the parks. The shaded lanai runs the entire length of the house and features a patio table with seating for 8 people. Ideal for enjoying an evening meal on a warm Florida night.
In addition, there is a comfortable sofa; the perfect spot to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. Lastly, there is also a hanging papasan type chair which is located in a sunny spot, right by the pool. Take a book and a cold drink and relax.
The sparkling pool can be heated, if necessary, however through the summer this shouldn’t be required. The hot tub is a nice way of soothing aches and pains or for simply laying back and relaxing in the warm water.
Resort Facilities
Solterra is a beautiful resort and has plenty of amenities to keep the whole family entertained. Additionally, the clubhouse has a gathering room with coffee shop, a fitness centre and a shaded patio area with fireplace, TVs and plenty of comfortable seating. Café Sol is available for snacks and drinks poolside.
The zero-entry pool is large enough so that little ones are able to play in the shallow end and adults can get a few laps in at the deeper end. Likewise, there is a volleyball net at one end for some competitive fun.
Additionally, there is a hot tub, a water slide, lazy river and a children’s play zone. Tennis courts and a practice pitch, for 5-a-side soccer, dodgeball or even a yoga class for instance, are available for something a bit more active.
