Town Vacation Homes

When you rent a town home you are getting a single-family villa but instead of having a private pool with space around, you are sharing your outdoor space with the houses next door.  Town homes do not have garages but will always have plenty of off street parking.  Usually town homes do not have a private pool but some have splash pools – not big enough to swim in but plenty big enough in which the kids can play or for a refreshing dip.  If a town home does not have it’s own pool, there is usually a communal pool within walking distance.

The down-side with townhomes is that being connected to each other, there is usually some noise intrusion from the houses on either side, something you do not get with a villa.  Also, if the home does not come with a splash pool, there will likely be no sitting area outside to enable you to enjoy beautiful Florida sunsets, or if there is it will only be small.   Private villas always come with their own paved deck area and usually have a covered seating area with patio table, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors.
