New things are happening at Walt Disney World®! Epcot® is undergoing expansion and is set to expand and change over the coming months – so watch this space for more information! In the meantime, guests can meet the ever popular Mickey Mouse® in new locations including the Imagination! pavilion, as part of the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival which is set for the beginning of 2020 . Despite his youthful, good looks, Mickey Mouse® has been a movie star for over 90 years and he’s not done yet! So, come see him and grab an autograph.
Let’s not forget his beautiful bride, Minnie Mouse®. She has her own Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, of course themed against the enchanting back-drop of Cinderella’s Castle, which will wow and delight guests of all ages.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicked off November 8th and will run through December 22nd. All the parks are decked out in their finest Christmas splendour, but none shine so bright than Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom®. Special Christmas parades and some of your favourite holiday songs, cookies and hot chocolate, festive eats and treats and of course the fantastic firework finale.
Talking of festive eats, we can’t wait to get our hands on some delicious Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake, a Snowflake Brownie or even Holiday Mickey Cinnamon Roll! Don’t have a sweet tooth? How about trying Gaston’s Cheese Dip or some Jolly Tamales? One thing is for sure, there are plenty of yuletide yummies throughout the parks that you won’t want to miss out on. Plus, decorations for your tree, holiday home ideas, festive ears, gifts, clothing and specialty light up souvenirs that are limited in numbers, so grab yours while you can! Phew!
