Marvel Super Hero Island®
See all your favorite comic book heroes in this area of the park. There are some great coasters and 3D attractions located here. Feel your tummy in your throat as your rise and fall on Dr. Dooms Fearfall®. Get a super fast start as you launch into action on The Incredible Hulk Coaster®. Spin as fast as a tornado (or as fast as your arms will let you spin) when you get on the dizzying Storm Force Accelatron®. There is a great quick bites stop right between these attractions-great pretzels, but you may want to make your purchase after the rides! You can also ride along with Spider-Man in an action packed 3D adventure on The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man®.
Toon Lagoon®
This area takes you back to the days when comic strips and cartoons were the best part of the day. Adults appreciate the nostalgia of their childhood favorites and the kids love the interactive playing. On Me Ship, The Olive®, kids get to explore Popeye’s boat and blast water from cannons onto unsuspecting passersby. Well, they are not totally unsuspecting; they are on Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges® ride and probably already soaked from the free fall drop and rapids. Since you are already wet, head over to take the plunge at Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls®. There are sit down and quick bites available here. You will love the decor and food found in the Comic Strip Cafe®
Jurassic Park®
You will get goosebumps when you step into this part of Islands of Adventure and see that extra tall barbed wire electric fence… Failed. You steps quicken as you follow the streets of this Jurassic world. Ahead of you lies mystery and intrigue on Jurassic Park River Adventure™ – people say there is quite a fright just before the final plunge! Thrill seekers can also take on Jurassic World VelociCoaster, racing alongside a pack of Velociraptors through high speed launches, twists and turns. Kids will love exploring Camp Jurassic® before taking to the skies on Pteranodon Flyers™, where you can get some great aerial views of the park. You can have a seat at Thunder Falls Terrace® and dry off a bit while you eat or grab something quick from a nearby stand.
Nearby, venture onto Skull Island: Reign of Kong™, where you will come face to face with enormous creatures before encountering the mighty King Kong himself.
The Lost Continent
Mythological stories of unbelievable creatures unfold here in The Lost Continent. Explore a world inspired by ancient myths, with towering rock formations, mysterious ruins and plenty of unusual details to discover along the way. Don’t forget to stop at the mouthy Mystic Fountain – always good for a witty exchange or a splash! You will find foods with mediterranean flair at Mythos Restaurant, along with a few quick bite locations throughout the area.
Dr. Seuss in Seuss Landing™
Everyone’s favorite rhymer Dr. Seuss has a Stoo-pendous™ area of Islands of Adventure that has many of the wacky shaped images from his books. You will find family friendly rides throughout Dr. Seuss in Seuss Landing™, like The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! ™, Caro-Seuss-el™. and the up and down and round ‘n’ round fun of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish™
Most popular attraction of this area is The Cat In The Hat™, where you will journey through an adventure with the zany Cat in The Hat™, who always causes a raucous just for fun! There is a great wet/dry play area for the kids themed after one of his famous books, If I Ran The Zoo™. Great atmosphere for lunch or dinner at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous™. The LIVE character meet and greet show, Oh! The Stories You’ll Hear! featuring your favorite Dr. Seuss book characters telling stories of Dr. Seuss’ imagination. Be sure to bring your autograph book for some really cool interactions!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™
Step into the magical world of Hogsmeade™, one of the most popular themed areas inside Islands of Adventure. On Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, you will be able to ride along with Harry Potter on a magical adventure through Hogwarts™ castle. You’ll get to sour in and out of familiar places you have seen on the screen a million times, including Dumbledore’s office and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Take on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™, a high-speed coaster that sends you racing through the Forbidden Forest alongside some of the wizarding world’s magical creatures. Flight of the Hippogriff™ is a family friendly coaster that journeys past Hagrid’s hut and pumpkin patch. Be sure to sample the Butterbeer™ and pumpkin Juice™ at nearby Three Broomsticks™; you can get some tasty British food here – YUM! Live performances from the Frog Choir and Triwizard Spirit Rally happen throughout the day, so be sure to check showtimes when you arrive.
