West Haven is a beautiful tree lined sub-division made up of 7 smaller holiday home communities. Each has their own gated entry and there are on-site facilities for each community. Just outside the gates of The Shire you will find the clubhouse with fitness centre, communal pool, tennis courts and beach volleyball court.
A quick 2 minute drive to the top of the main road will take you to the nearest restaurant, which is Beef O’Brady’s. There is also a Chinese, a pizzeria, wine bar, pharmacy and gas station here. The nearest grocery store is Publix at Champions Gate and this is 8 minutes in a car. There are also restaurants here; Ale House, Chili’s and Red Robin. Also at this location are gas stations, take-outs, banks, a hair salon and a nail bar.
If you’re a golfer there is an 18 hole course at Champions Gate as well as another a short drive (15 mins) away at Reunion.
Interstate-4 can be accessed at Champions Gate and this is your gateway for the Disney attractions (15 minute drive), Universal/Islands of Adventure (25 mins), Disney Springs (20 mins), International Drive and restaurant row at Sand Lake Road. You would also use this road for Seaworld and if you feel like a day at the coast.
