30TH ANNUAL GREAT FLORIDIAN TRIATHLON

[one_third padding=”0 20px 0 0″][/one_third][two_third_last]The 30th Annual Great Floridian Triathlon will once again be hosted in Clermont, Florida on October 24th 2020.  This year the race has been designated 2020 USA Triathlon National Ultra-Distance Championship.

For those not familiar with the event, this will be the 29th year for the nation’s longest running, independent (non-Ironman licensed) full distance triathlon.  An ultra-distance triathlon, or full distance triathlon as it is often called, features a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run. Since the first race, in 1991, the Great Floridian Triathlon has attracted athletes from all 50 states and more than 30 countries. The race is recognized for being one of the most challenging, full distance races in the country and is given huge support by the City of Clermont, Lake County, its neighbouring communities, local residents and businesses, which ensures a world class race experience combined with the benefits of the quaintness of a small town.[/two_third_last]
